Summer Don’t Go Essential Oil Diffuser Blend

Not ready for summer to end?  We are not either, definitely not looking forward to cold nights and frosty mornings.  This blend will help warm you up with the scent of summer all year long.

Summer Don’t Go

3 parts Jasmine Oil
2 parts Ylang Ylang Oil

Mix all together and diffuse in your favorite essential oil diffuser.  Then diffuse whenever you are missing the fragrant smells of summer. 

Jasmine Essential Oil

Jasmine Essential Oil is extracted from the flowers of Jasmine, and it has various scientific names including Jasminum Grandiflora (Royal Jasmine) and Jasminum Officinale (Common Jasmine). The oil is extracted mainly from the latter variety. Jasmine is a very famous flower. It has a strong yet sweet, pleasing and romantic fragrance, which is very common in flowers which bloom only at night. 

Jasmine essential oil has a pleasing and uplifting effect on the brain and helps to fight depression. Jasmine will make you feel happy and potentially awakens romantic and poetic feelings. The aromatic effect of jasmine oil stimulates the release of certain hormones in the body, including serotonin, which results in the boost of energy and the uplifted mood. Jasmine essential oil calms down the body, mind and soul while bringing forth positive and emotions. It gives relief from stress, anxiety, anger and depression.


Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

Ylang-ylang essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of fresh flowers of the ylang-ylang tree, which bears the scientific name Cananga Odorata and is commonly found in the rain forests of certain Asian and South Pacific Islands like Indonesia, Philippines, Java, Sumatra, Comoro and Polynesia. Ylang Ylang essential oil is frequently used in perfumes and aromatherapy treatments due to its pleasing and delicate fragrance, ylang-ylang essential oil is also used for a variety of medicinal purposes.

Ylang ylang oil fights depression and relaxes both the body and soul, it helps to relieve anxiety, sadness, and chronic stress. It also has an uplifting effect on mood and induces feelings of hope and joy.  Ylang Ylang strengthens the nervous system. Furthermore, it also reduces stress on the nerves and protects them from developing a number of nervous disorders.
